Vicky, Rashmika Chhava To Start From Next Month

Rashmika with her newly found Pan India fame with Pushpa 1 The Rise has shifted her base to Mumbai. She also did a couple of big films but none brought her desired success. Her big ticket film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor is slated to release on December 1st. Meanwhile she has been confirmed in Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Chhava'.

This period film is all set to roll the cameras and starts its principal photography next month. Vicky essaying the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder and the great warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Rashmika will be seen in the role of his wife Yesubai Bhonsale.

While the film will be primarily focused on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s sacrifice, and his strategies for the warfare, it will also explore a love angle between Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his wife. The film is directed by Lakshman Utekar and produced under the banner of Maddock Films.

While Vicky Kaushal, has ‘The Great Indian Family’ on the horizon, Rashmika has Animal, Pushpa 2, Dhanush's film, and Rainbow in the pipeline.
