Tainted Telugu Desam Party (TDP) legislator representing the Kovvur segment, Mr T V Rama Rao, on Monday staged a walk-out from the House protesting against the ‘denial of an opportunity,’ for him by the Chair to voice his version on the charges famed against him.Mr Rama Rao was recently in the jail and is now out on bail following a case filed by the police for his alleged molestation of the girl students of his Spurthi Nursing College. While the MLA has already denied the charge on the floor of the House and the Home Minister, Mrs Sabith Indra Reddy, narrated the minute-by-minute account of what had happened on the nursing college campus on the day when the girls alleged harassment.
 
On Monday he again sought the permission of the Chair to explain on the Home Minister’s reply. The Speaker, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, who was in the Char denied him the permission following which eh stated a walk-out from the House.Later talking to media persons, the TDP legislator said that he was thrown onto the roads by the ruling Congress as he had turned down the offer to shift loyalties from the TDP to the Congress.  “This is the only sin that I had committed for which the Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, is taking revenge upon me. False cases have been foisted against me. At any cost, I will not budge and I will fight in the streets,” he remarked.He said that the charges made by the Home Minister, Mrs Sabitha Indra Reddy, while replying to my speech on the floor of the House on that day were totally false. He said such statements would not deter him from going ahead with his fight.
