Cong MLAs seek resignation of DS

Unable to bear the humiliation of not being able to win at least one seat in the  by-elections, the Congress leaders demanded for the resignation of PCC  chief  D Srinivas.

For the first time many MLAs from all the  the regions called for the resignation of  DS. It is the leadership which failed in the  state, they retorted.

Some of the MLAs even questioned,`` how can a person who lost twice consecutively in the elections lead a State.’’

Meanwhile, AICC General Secretary  Veerappa Moily expressed his unhappiness over the results and said those who resigned for Telangana in February won the elections.

Moily met the Congress MPs from Telangana who said this was not the  right atmosphere to hold elections in Telangana.
