Sparks are soon to fly between PM Modi and AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. Ever since Jagan Mohan Reddy became the CM of Andhra Pradesh and PM Modi congratulated him in Delhi and hugged him, rumors started floating that both have some secret relations and that was the reason why PM Modi is remaining silent even though Jagan and his government plunging the state into the financial crisis. When Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that Modi treats Jagan as his son, it gave credence to all the rumors.
The Union Government's silence on various controversial decisions taken by the AP Government headed by Jagan is leaving all the right-thinking people shellshocked. Modi government's silence over Jagan's three capital agenda also came as a shock to many. To the top of it, Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan becomes the mute spectator to Jagan's decisions and even his signing of the three capital bills raised the eyebrows of the legal experts.
However, in a swift move, the Modi government changed the governor and appointed former Supreme Court judge Abdul Nazeer in his place. Nazeer is known for his landmark judgments in Ayodhya Ram Mandir and Triple Talaq issue. Prior to it, The Centre has given an affidavit in the Supreme Court that AP Government did not inform the three capitals and as far as it is concerned, Amaravathi is the state capital. This came as a shock to CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and the ruling YSRCP.
In the coming days, people expect many such shocks from PM Modi to CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. This is making them wonder, how and where the cordial relations between PM Modi and CM Jagan Mohan Reddy got strained.
