Two Congress leaders on Tuesday planned to complain against Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader K Chandrasekhara Rao for making inflammatory speeches during campaigning in contravention of the model code of conduct in force.
PCC general secretary G Niranjan and member V Kamalakara Rao told reporters in the day the TRS leader has violated the code of conduct by delivering inflammatory speeches in Karimnagar district.
They said they would seek action against KCR for provoking people through inflammatory speeches in his campaigns.
The two leaders submitted a memorandum to Chief Electoral Officer I V Subba Rao on Monday in this regard.
In their complaint, they said KCR has threatened to plunge the state into crisis if the Srikrishna panel did not submit its report on Telangana by Dec 31.
“This is provocative and may disturb people of Coastal Andhra in the state. It's a clear violation of model code of conduct,” they said.
