CM flags off Tirupati-Guntakal passenger

Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Tuesday flagged off the converted Pakala-Dharmavaram Broad Gauge Section and also flagged off  Train No 275 Tirupati-Guntakal Passenger train via Remote Video Link at Rail Nilayam here.

 After flagging off the train, the Chief Minister said the service would benefit the economically backward region and help the development of the region industrially and agriculturally.

Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa presided. The function was relayed live simultaneously at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad, Tirupati and Pakala Railway Stations via the Remote Video Link.

 MLA M Shashidhar Reddy, member of National Disaster Management Authority, Home Minister P Sabita Indira Reddy,  Health & Family Welfare MInister Danam Nagender Reddy, BC Welfare Minister M Mukesh Goud, Mayor B Karthika Chandra Reddy and other leaders including Dr K Keshava Rao, Md Ali Khan, Shri Syed Azeez Pasha, V Hanumantha Rao, Shri Rashid Alvi, Sarvey Sathyanarayana, K Janardhan Reddy and Dr P Shanker Rao participated.

 A Sai Prathap, Union Minister of State for Steel , N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Speaker, Legislative Assembly, D Prasada Rao, Minister for Revenue, Relief, Rehabilitation & Urban Land Ceiling, P Ramachandra Reddy, Minister for Forest, G Aruna Kumari, Minister for Roads & Buildings, N Sivaprasad, MP, Chittoor, R Reddappa Reddy, MLC and M Subramanyam Reddy, Chairman, Zilla Parishad graced the occasion at  Pakala Railway Station.

 Dr Chinta Mohan, MP, K Jayachandra Naidu, MLC and K Chiranjeevi, MLA, graced the occasion at Tirupati Railway Station.

 The Tirupati-Guntakal-Tirupati Passenger Train will run via Pakala-Madanapalle-Kurbalakota-Dharmavaram-Kalluru-Guntakal. The passenger will depart Tirupati at 8.00 hrs and reach Guntakal at 20.30 hrs. In the return direction, Train No.276 Guntakal-Tirupati Passenger will depart Guntakal at 7.00 hrs., and reach Tirupti at 16.40 hrs.
