Naidu sets up committee to study weavers' problems

Telugu Desam Party has set up a committee to study the problems of weavers at Dubbaka in Medak district.According to a press release, the TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday set up a committee to study the problems of weavers in Dubbaka.

The committee consists of newly nominated Rajya Sabha member Gundu Sudharani, Hindupur MP Nimmala Krishnappa, TDP senior leader Nagesh and TDP weavers’ wing chief secretary Rapolu Sudhakar.

Naidu appointed the committee after a team from Dubbaka urged him to bring their problems to the notice of government.

The committee will visit Dubbaka and study the living conditions of weavers, reasons for committing suicides and submit its report to Naidu.

Based on the report Naidu will demand that the State and Central Governments announce a special package for weavers.
