With the number of COVID-19 cases in surge, that is with the rise of Second Wave, Telangana government imposed a lockdown from May 12. Right now, the state is witnessing lockdown from 2pm to 6am the next day.
Previously, the state witnessed night lockdowns beginning from April 20. Latest reports are that KCR is mulling to do away with the lockdown. WIth the number of cases subsiding, KCR is planning to go for unlock from June 10.
However, in the unlock mode, the night curfew is likely to be continued for 10 days from 8pm to 7am till next day. Currently, the COVID positive rate in Telangana is less than 2 percent, so with the state government doing away with the lockdown, makes the public act with diligence by following the social distancing norms.
