Veteran Telugu actor Balakrishna on Thursday morning visited Lord Venkateshwara Swami temple in Tirumala along with film director Boyapati Srinu and producer Paruchuri Prasad of United Movies of his latest film Simha and offered special prayers.
Balakrishna had the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara during VIP break darshan. After the darshan, Balakrishna went to Dwajastambham in the temple premises and came back again to have the darshan of Lord second time.
After the darshan, Balakrishna told reporters he prayed for the welfare of the people in the state and sought blessings of Lord for his forthcoming movies.
The success of film Simha broguht about a change in the film industry, Balakrishna opined. The visit was part of Simha team's pilgrimage to express its gratitude over the success of Simha, which collected a whopping Rs 26 crores worldwide by the end of its first week.
Film director Boyapati Srinu said the he was planning to produce a movie with Balakrishna’s son. He also said he would produce a film starring Jr NTR and the film shooting starts soon.
Apart having a darahsan at Tirumala, the film unit proceeded to Srikalahasti temple and offered special prayers to Vayulingeswara swamiji.
