Technical Education Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana on Wednesday stated that the government would announce SSC examination results on May 24.
Talking to reporters, he said the government has taken all steps to announce the SSC results on May 24.
In the wake of cyclone hitting the Coastal Andhra, the government will take a decision on ECET, which is scheduled to be held on May 24, on Thursday after conducting a meeting with education department officials, he pointed out.
He said the government has made arrangements for conducting EAMCET and the details of examination centres would be sent to candidates three days in advance through their mobiles by SMS message.
Nearly 3,08,300 candidates will be attempting EAMCET this year, the Minister said.
He said for engineering entrance, 605 examination centres were allotted while for medical 106 centres were allotted across the state.
