The CBI special court on Wednesday adjourned the multi-crore Satyam Computer fraud case to May 21 for hearing on framing of charges against prime accused B Ramalinga Raju and nine others.
The accused, except Satyam founder Raju, who is undergoing treatment, were produced before the XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Nampally, after expiry of their custody on Wednesday.
One accused, Vadlamani Srinivas, a former Chief Financial Officer told the court that he is undergoing eye surgery at his own expense at a private hospital.
However, after hearing the arguments of the prosecution, the judge declined to allow him to undergo operation in a private hospital.
The court directed the jail authorities to admit Srinivas in the Sarojinidevi Eye Hospital.The judge also asked the advocate about Raju's he health condition of Raju, the prime accused in the case.
