Babu pat for Andhra IAS topper

Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu has a word of appreciation for candidates from Andhra Pradesh who were selected in the Indian Administrative Services examinations, 2009, results for which were declared on Thursday.

Hailing the performance of candidates from Andhra Pradesh in general and Bharat Kumar Gupta of Gooty in Anantapur district who stood first in the Civil Services examination among the state candidates in particular, the TDP leader said the candidates’ performance in the Civils is sterling. Gupta secured 17th rank taking the first position in the state.

It is praiseworthy that candidates from Anantapuram, Khammam, Kadapa, Guntur, Kurnool, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Mehbubnagar, Prakasam, Vizianagaram, Nellore, Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam districts have passed the Civil Services examinations, Naidu said.

In a press release, the former chief minister hoped these successful candidates from the state have added a feather in the state’s cap and hoped these youngsters would go up great heights in life and bring glory to Andhra Pradesh.
