Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Tuesday called for sincere execution of welfare works taken up by the Government for the poor and the backward classes.
Participating in the Prajapatham programme at Padmanabham in the district, he said the people's response to Prajapatham programme was overwhelming and it has become participatory with more people coming forward to raise their problems.
He criticized the Opposition for boycotting the Prajapatham in some areas and said nobody can block development works taken up by government. “If the Opposition parties come in the way of implementation of Government programmes, development of the state would not be possible,” he stated.
Earlier, the District Selection Committee -2008 aspirants staged a dharna demanding posting orders to selected teacher candidates.
The Chief Minister assured them that the government would recruit all eligible candidates and give posting orders to them soon.
Later, the candidates withdrew their dharna.The Chief Minister will inaugurate College of Excellency and Patnaik Art Gallery in Paradesipalem.Later he will return to Hyderabad.
