Minister for Major Irrigation Ponnala Laxmaiah on Saturday stated the Government is making efforts to accord national status for the Polavaram project to be built on river Godavari in the West Godavari district.
&nbsp;The Minister was here to participate in the Prajapatham programme held at Churakattila village in Buchaaiahpeta mandal in the district.
&nbsp;He said Chief Minister K Rosaiah was making efforts with the Centre to provide national status to Polavaram, Devadula and Pranahita-Chevella projects.&nbsp;He said the government would take steps to complete the projects, which are at various stages of construction.
&nbsp;When the reporters asked him about the objections raised by Odissa state over the Polavaram project, he said Chief Minister Rosaiah had taken up the issue with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh seeking his intervention to get national project status for the projects.

At that time one gets a feeling that the story is heading no where and the screenplay looked stale.After the predictable first half, except for the hilarious sequence in the runup to the interval and the interval block, the stage is set for the second half. The second half continues in the same way and the few comedy scenes involving the cop did not generate the required humour as it turned repetitive.The pre climax and climax picks up pace and the cameo involving Anudeep entertains all turning the film into a decent watch. There are many illogical scenes and the director failed to justify the behavior of the female lead and at time the hero character. Though the film is touted to be a romantic entertainer, it misses the strong romantic elements.Pavan Pappula turned the film visually appealing on the screen. He turned the scenes into colorful ones. Vasuki Vabhav's songs are melodious and at one touches souls and hearts. They are shot in a beautiful manner. The background music is in sync with the story. Marthand K Venkatesh's editing is quite good in the first half. The pace in the second half dips due to repetitive scenes and intense emotions. He could have done away with the repetitive scenes. He tried to thrill viewers with a horror thriller with spiritual elements. The entire first half is narrated in an interesting manner maintaining the suspense and unraveling the twists in an apt manner. The first half narration is decent and the screenplay is intact and racy keeping the interest levels of the viewers quite high setting the tone for the second half.However, MS.Raju loses plot in the second half with convenient screenplay. Instead of the protagonist unraveling the mystery of Agadha, other characters reveal everything to her, leaving nothing for her to do, thus diluting the over all impact. To the top of it, repetitive scenes impacted the flow of the narration. However, he generates interest in the runup to the climax before ending it in a decent manner.Nani Chamidisetty with his cinematography created the desired impact. He showed the scenes in an impactful manner using the color combinations and camera angles perfectly. The VFX and Graphics are of good quality. They could have however taken more care regarding the graphics. Art department could have done a better job as artificiality crept in the sets. The music of &nbsp;Rakesh Venkatapuram is good. He made a powerful impact with his background score elevating the scenes to the next level. Editing of Junaid Siddique is good in the first half but could have been far better in the second half. A little finetuning of the script, even powerful screenplay and gripping narration exploring the three characters divining deep into them would have turned the output into a more powerful and impactful one. Arun Matheswaran did not deviate from the subject and even drag the romantic and love tracks with unnecessary lip locks, hugs and songs.Though even few romantic scenes slowed the pace of the film, he ensured that he quicky shifted to action genre to keep viewers interest glued. The first half ends on a decent note with the cat and mouse game between the cops and the rebels. The second half continues in the same way with the introduction of new characters and the pre climax connects chords with all with the film finally ending on a predictable note. The predictability in the story, illogical scenes and few boring elements undid all the hard work.The cinematography of Mukesh is good. He showed the period look in the story in a appealing and relatable manner. Anirudh Ravichander's tunes for the songs are just ok. The songs had a montage touch. But he elevated the scenes with his unique and terrific background score. He showed variety in the background music. He showed his creativity by scoring background in a poetic manner. Prasanna. GK's editing is quite fine but at times there are few repetitive elements.
