Criticising former mayor of Hyderabad Teegala Krishna Reddy for making a mess on her statements, Telugu Desam Mahila wing leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari on Monday demanded an apology from him.
Talking to reporters at NTR Trust Bhavan, Rajakumari said the whole problem cropped up due to Teegala and demanded that he withdraw his comments against her. Teegala stated that Nannapaneni should discuss her problems within the four walls of the party fora instead of airing them before newsmen.
He also demanded her resignation from the Mahila wing if she wants to stay in the party.However, Teegala refused to withdraw his comments stating that he did not make any adverse comments against her.
Nannapaneni said she came to Hyderabad to greet Tdp president N Chandrababu Naidu on his birthday on Tuesday.She said she would attend the two-member committee and explain her stand on the comments she made.
She said she did not make any negative comment against party chief N Chandrababu Naidu. She urged him to give due respect to grass-root level workers.
During the last Friday's enrolment drive, she said those who work sincerely for the party have no value and the party was not giving due recognition to the grass-root level workers.
