Janasena Party Chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan will be holding a long march in Visakhapatnam tomorrow to protest against the Andhra Pradesh government's new sand policy which has left thousands of construction workers without a livelihood.
The long march will be aimed at mounting pressure on the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government to come up with a solution to resolve the issues of the construction workers at the earliest.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief Chandrababu Naidu also offered his support to the long march. But, Communist Parties- CPI and CPM gave him a big jolt stating they won’ be taking part in the long march.
In a letter to the JSP chief, leaders of CPI and CPM clarified that they are not participating in the long march citing Pawa Kalyan seeking support from BJP as the reason for their resolution.
Pawan Kalyan asked several parties to participate in the event. He also appealed to the BJP. However, the BJP was reluctant to join the program. Now, Communists also refused to be part of the long march.
For Pawan Kalyan, this long march will also be a show of strength in Vizag. So he is not bothered about who is supporting and who is reluctant to join the program.
