Senior Congress leader Damodar Reddy submitted his report to the Srikrishna panel on Saturday.Expressing his views on Telangana, he said, ``a lot of cultural differences exists between the people of Andhra and Telangana. ‘’

The Andhra people do not celebrate any festival except Sankranthi. He claimed that they do not celebrate Diwali, Batukamma, Holi etc. When he referred to Diwali the reporters were left bemused.

The  Congress leader  also claimed that the Hindu gods and goddesses of the Andhra and the Telangana regions are different. While the Andhra people worship Durga, Bhavani, Jagadamba etc, the Telanganites worship Mysamma, Poleramma, Pochamma etc.

He claimed that the Telangana slang is completely different from the Andhra Telugu slang.
