Andhra Pradesh is launching the Global Horticulture Hub – Rayalaseema Rising project to transform Rayalaseema into a major national and international horticulture centre. The ₹1 lakh crore initiative will focus on production, processing and exports, with the formal launch scheduled in Madanapalle today, on October 2 in the presence of Central Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman along with AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.The State plans to mobilise ₹40,000 crore through public investment over the next three to four years and attract nearly ₹60,000 crore from private investors through the PPP model. The programme will cover 201 horticulture clusters across 10 districts, creating integrated production, processing, storage and marketing ecosystems.The master plan targets expansion of horticultural cultivation to 14.41 lakh hectares and aims to improve incomes for around 9.6 lakh farmers. Proposed investments include ₹20,884 crore for irrigation, ₹14,906 crore for horticulture and ₹4,562 crore for rural roads, alongside substantial private sector participation.The project proposes creating new irrigation potential for nine lakh acres while stabilising another 4.3 lakh acres. Around 5,721 kilometres of rural roads are planned to strengthen farm to market connectivity. Drip irrigation, sprinklers and fertigation will be expanded to improve water efficiency and support higher agricultural productivity.High value crops including mango, banana, tomato, pomegranate, dates and dragon fruit will receive greater attention. The government also plans grading, sorting, packaging, cold storage and food processing infrastructure, while promoting products such as mango pulp, banana powder, chips, tomato puree, chilli oleoresin and dehydrated fruits.The first phase covers 72 clusters, with cultivation expansion planned across 72,789 hectares. She explained that the first film’s commercial success does not automatically justify a huge production cost. Unless the story genuinely demands scale, the team intends to maintain a realistic filmmaking approach.Anupriya stressed that spending ₹10 crore or ₹20 crore does not guarantee better results. She believes unnecessary VFX or AI generated elements could reduce the film’s natural feel when the story does not require them. The sequel will therefore prioritise storytelling, authenticity, characters, period specific geography and atmosphere over excessive production expenditure.Hanuman Ansh was released on August 7 and reportedly cost more than ₹1.5 crore, with Anupriya clarifying that the budget was not ₹2 crore. After a night of violence, tension prevailed on the &nbsp;Osmania University campus on Monday. Students who were still grudging &nbsp;their anger on the Sunday&rsquo;s lathi-charge pelted stones at the police leading to violence.
The police (most of them from from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar) initially tried to run for cover, but soon recovered and again laticharged the students. Incidentally, some police too pelted stones at the students.&nbsp;
In the clashes between the police and the students, one policeman was injured when a stone hit his head and he was immediately rushed to the hospital. A couple of &nbsp;journalists who were filming the incident were also hurt . A few of the students were injured in the incident. The police lobbed teargas shells to quell the unruly mob.
The police are not allowing any 'outsiders' into the campus and are checking the ID cards before letting people enter the campus.
As a fallout to the laticharge some students in Warangal and Suryapet blocked the highways and did dharnas.
Both the students and the police accused the media of one sided coverage.
On Sunday police and paramilitary forces laid siege to the Osmania University campus as the tension spread to neighbouring residential colonies with residents coming out in support of students.

Apologizing to the media for the unfortunate incident in which the police whipped out lathis on students and mediapersons for the second day in succession on the OU campus, Rosaiah said the culprits will be taken to task after the probe.
Referring to the disruption of the Governor's speech in the Assembly, the Chief Minister said it is unfortunate &nbsp;that Congress MLAs have disrupted the Governor's speech.

He tried to entertain all by highlighting the fight of the oppressed against the powerful, rich and dreaded people who wields an iron like grip. He starts the narration in an interesting manner and till the introduction of the lead actor, the intensity is maintained in a perfect manner.However, the romantic track slowed the pace of the narration and the story goes nowhere. It comes back to the track with the conflict between the hero and the villian and also the mother-son emotional bonding. The intensity reaches its peaks during the pre interval block before setting the stage for the second half.The second half continues in the same manner with protagonist and antagonist baying for each other's blood and the oppressed sect fighting for recognition. It also boils down whether they should fight for the recognition or for the survival to live another day to continue the fight. The film ends in a predictable tone with many cinematic liberties taken and missing logics hampering the realistic feel.Right after the start, one gets a feeling that something is a miss. Most of the scenes are included and shot only to give elevations. Though the start and introduction of the protagonist increase the curiosity levels, the same is not maintained in the next scenes. Kayadu Lohar's characterisation looked extremely odd and the introduction of Raghav Juyal looks absurd. The scenes of son hating mother is also not established properly. The mother's love for son should have been established in a different manner than selling herself to cure his fever. The interval episode after all the hype, looked normal.The second half picks up pace thanks to the protagonist's decision. However with the scenes turning monotonous and routine ,one cannot travel with them. The role of MLA similar to KCR generates interest. The way the Govt brands the oppressed people as terrorists smacks of logic. Same is the case with the pre climax and climax which turned out to be below average. Srikanth Odela failed as a writer and his direction turned out to be pretty average.Anirudh Ravichander came up with a thumping background score. He took the scenes to the next level with his background music. However at times, his background music turned extremely loud. He came up with two foot tapping tunes and the songs are shot in a beautiful manner. The editing of Naveen Nooli could have been better. He sported a new look and there ends the so-called novelty and creativity in the story. Srikanth Odela's story offered nothing new. Many such stories came earlier and except for Nani's braids, his look resembled that of Ram Charan in Peddi. Even some of the dance moves resembled the same.On top of it, though he did many stunts, many looked forced and artificial. After the intense start, Srikanth Odela turned the narration into a predictable one with romantic elements etc. Couple of scenes in the first half stand and except that , it does not offer anything new and high. He tried to elevate the mother-son sentiment but the scenes do not connect chords as they looked forced and disappeared in the intense action sequences.In his quest to take Nani's mass image to the next level, Srikanth Odela did not concentrate on the story, screenplay and direction. Story looked predictable and one gets a feeling that he drew inspiration from Peddi, Devara, KGF, Pushpa, Salaar and many others. The chapter wise narration reminds one of the successful template of Dhurandhar. In the name of emotions, most of the actors went over the top bringing in artificiality. Similarly, he has taken many cinematic liberties and logics went missing. Excessive violence and use of obscene words and dialogues did not create the required impact.Reworking on the story and script and racy screenplay would have added value to the narration. The emotions of various female characters are highlighted. However, seeing those scenes on the screen, one gets a feeling that the director got stuck up with the 80s problems and melodrama associated with them. But for all his hard work to pierce the hearts of the viewers with emotional scenes pertaining to men and women, misfired completely. The climax emotional scene turned out to be over dramatic and missed the basic emotions. Once the film ends, viewers will heave a sigh of relief after all the emotional torture. The screenplay resembles that of many old films of the 80s and 90s.Subramaniyan Manigandan turned the scenes colorful with his cinematography. The first half ends on an interesting note with few surprising revelations setting the tone for the second half.The second half goes further into murders and drugs etc. The first half included a song to highlight the father-daughter sentiment but it failed to generated the required emotions. The song placement looked odd and out of sync. They could have easily done away with the song.The main villian revelation did not excite anyone as the director failed to keep the viewers engaged with the suspense till the end. Viewers can easily guess the villian even before the end of the first half thus diluting the intensity levels in the second half. Many such films came earlier and the narration dragged with the routine breakup story of Karthik testing the patience of the viewers. The interval twist turns out to be decent and the second half turns little racy. But the predictable elements robbed the viewers of the excitement.Though few scenes in the runup to the finding of Meghana looked good, the weak villian turned out to be the main drawback. The climax ends on a routine note with an action sequence. There are many routine and predictable scenes in the second half as the narration proceeds towards the climax.The cinematography of Sam K Naidu is good. He showed the visuals in an appealing manner. Generally crime thrillers have good following in the OTTs and so Mohan Srivatsa also chose the similar topic.He drew inspiration from Malayalam webseries and followed the same template of a cop investigating the mysterious death and then he exposed the medical mafia. He highlighted the nexus between medical mafia, doctors and organ trafficking. Apart from it, he also highlighted the emotions between brothers and sisters.However, the screenplay assumed predictable trope and the narration lacked the exciting and interesting twists and turns. One can easily predict the villains and the next scenes easily. Even the crime investigation scenes are not shown in an interesting manner. With the unraveling of the villain in the final episode, the webseries ends on a tame note.Naresh Kumaran elevated the scenes with his background music. The cinematography of Sandeep Kanth gave the scenes and proceedings a realistic feel. Andhra Pradesh Home Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy on Monday visited the media persons who were undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital after being injured in the police cane-charge at the Osmania University on Sunday evening. 
The Home Minister expressed concern over the incident and assured the media persons of stern action against the police who were responsible for the incident. She regretted the incident and said the government had ordered probe into the incident. 
Later, the Home Minister met the representatives of the Crime Reporters Forum and assured them of her support to the injured media persons. She wanted the journalists to cooperate with the government to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future.
