Students for Delhi on Feb 20; insist on meeting Sonia
The agitation for Telangana statehood will continue irrespective of the terms of reference of Sri Krishna Committee. The Joint Action Committee of Osmania University has reasserted that there is no going back on the formation of separate Telangana.
``We are not concerned about the terms of reference of Sri Krishna Committee. What we want is a separate Telangana and to achieve this we will continue the agitation,’’ the JAC representative Manvata Roy said.
In a bid to achieve their goal, the JAC representatives will leave for Delhi on Feb 20 to meet Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi before voicing their demand for carving out a separate state,
The JAC leaders also sought the help of Congress Working Committee member Keshav Rao in facilitating an interview with Sonia Gandhi.
