No IPL matches' no Deccan Chargers?

The Indian Premier League decision not to allot matches to Hyderbad this year has jolted Andhra Pradesh Sports Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy to no end. Reddy, in turn, cautioned IPL that the reigning Champions Deccan Chargers will have to keep away from the tourney. The Minister told the scribes on Wednesday that "We've requested Deccan Chargers not to play in the IPL if the inaugural match and the four other matches are shifted out of Hyderabad."The local team, Deccan Chargers, are the defending champions from IPL Season-II and were scheduled to play the inaugural match against Kolkata Knight Riders on their home turf.

But the IPL's governing council has shifted the venue to Mumbai expecting some disruption from the  Telangana supporters. Further, the IPL has decided to move four other scheduled matches out of Hyderabad.Komatireddy has also written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India to revoke its decision.  The Minister assured the Board a safe conduct of the match since the Telangana Joint Action Committee has promised not to disrupt any IPL games.
