Hyderabad, Jan 23: Former minister Damodar Reddy on Saturday criticized Eluru MP Kavuri Sambhasiva Rao’s statement that Maoists were behind the Telangana agitation going violent.The former minister said the MP should have been careful in making controversial statements as they disturb peace in the state.The MP made the remarks at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district on Saturday.

The MP said 90 percent of students want that semester examinations should be conducted peacefully at the Osmania University.Criticising the MP for issuing provocative statements, Reddy asked Sambhasiva Rao to visit the Osmania University campus to see who is leading the agitation.He said the Centre should appoint a committee with a clear-cut-time-frame for the formation of the Tstate.
