Telugu Desam Party leader Anam Vivekananda Reddy launched a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition and YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and accused him of amassing wealth to the tune of Rs 1 lakh crore during the former Chief Minister YSR Reddy’s regime.
Due to the corrupt practices of Jagan the state has now become bankrupt, the TD leader said. He took a dig at the YSRC chief saying that as to what purpose did the Gadapagadapaku, the mass contact programme undertaken by Jagan served. He said that it was ironic that the YSRC was stalling the development of the state on one hand and on the other going to the people asking their views on the performance of the government.
“YSRC leaders are asking people to rate the performance of the government. Who gave them the authority to take feedback? The people of the state are well aware of the tactics of the YSRC and will not care for their ballot exercise to rate the government’s performance,” Anam Reddy told the reporters.
Jagan is power hungry man and is only interested in amassing wealth. Days are not far that Jagan would lose even the Leader of Opposition status, the TD leader added.
