Palwai denies calling Jana Reddy a covert

Congress MP Palwai Govardhan Reddy on Thursday denied calling Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy as a covert of TRS in the Telangana Congress.

Speaking to media persons here, Palwai said that he did call Jana Reddy a covert of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. However, he maintained that Jana Reddy has been damaging the Congress party and he has a soft corner for KCR. When asked for reaction on Leader of Opposition in Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir's demand for Show Cause Notice against him, Palwai questioned the authority of Shabbir Ali in making such a demand.

Palwai also alleged that there was no change in conditions of people living in Telangana despite creation of new State. He said KCR has been pursuing his dictatorial politics and therefore, he has deliberately trying to insult Telangana JAC chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram.
