Shekhar Kamula crew attacked

Hyderabad, Jan 4: The serial attacks on film crew by Telangana Activists continued even on Monday, this time the activists chose to vandalise the shooting of Daggubati Rana’s ‘Leader’ by destroying equipment of the production unit being directed by Shekhar Kamula at Open Cast Project-3 of Godavarighani in Karmnagar district.The Telangana Rashtra Samiti activists went to the film unit tent and raised slogans pro-Telangana slogans.

The activists threatened the film unit members of dire consequences if they did not stop shooting and pack up.  ‘Leader’ starring Daggubati Rana, grandson of the producer D Ramanaidu is said to be an action packed film based on factionalism.Priya Anand, Richa Gangopadhyay and Haripriya are acting opposite Rana. The movie is being planned to be released in January.Earlier, the TRS activists attacked film troops shooting with lead actors Manchu Manoj, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu.
