Hyderabad, Aug 4:-
The Telugu Desam Party senior leader (TDP), Mr Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, is keen on Mr Devender Goud tendering an unconditional open apology to the party before his re-entry into the TDP.
Emerging from the meeting convened with his followers and supporters on Tuesday to chalk out his future course of action in the wake of re-entry of Devender Goud into TDP, Mr Talasani Yadav said that he demanded unconditional apology from Praja Rajyam Party Senior leader Devender Goud as he made some adverse comments against TDP before quitting it. Those comments had affected badly the chances of party in the assembly elections, particularly in Telangana region, he added.
With the re-entry of Devender the differences between Andhra-Telangana leaders would widen in the future, he feared.
If Devender Goud joints the party, I would quit the TDP, Talasani made it clear. He also gave an ultimatum to the TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu to decide whom he wants now.
He said he would remain committed to the United Andhra Pradesh and alleged that Devender Goud had cheated both TDP and PRP leaders during the crucial juncture.
Talasani made it clear that if the same situation comes to him he only quits the party and not take any activists along with him.
If PRP wins 40 assembly seats and Goud also elected to parliament or assembly, then will he join TDP, he questioned.
However, he made it clear he would never oppose Devender Goud’s re-entry and demanded unconditional apology and explanation from him for ditching the party at critical juncture.
