Naidu claimed that it was during his regime that Hyderabad city got a new identity. Besides construction of Hitec City, the TDP regime improved city's infrastructure and brought it on par with other international cities. He said that the victory of TDP-BJP combine in GHMC elections was essential to continue the development process. He alleged that the previous Congress regime and present TRS rule have pushed the city in backward direction. City's revenues were badly hit and Hyderabad's professionals lost their significance at the global level, he said.

He said that the TDP-BJP combine has a clear cut vision on the development of Hyderabad and it would implement the same to restore the city's lost glory. He also alleged that conspiracies were being hatched to weaken the TDP in Telangana State. However, he said that the party would strengthen its base in the State and play the role of an active opposition.
