Resignations nearing century in half day.

The movement for Telangana picks the momentum very quickly in Telangana region now. After the statement from Chidambaram on Telangana taking into consideration the situation in Andhra Pradesh, TRS has called for a 48 hour bandh.

The overnight calculations have come to reality and the resignations of Telangana MLA’s have reached near the century mark. The top scorer Telugu Desham with 40 resignations followed by Congress 37, TRS 10, PRP 2 and others 2. Coming to MP’s the score has neared 14 say a media report.

The voters of respective Assemblies are calling up their elected representatives and issuing the threats to resign for their MLA seats and then arrive in their Assemblies. Now, the pressure is even mounted on AICC  and PCC chiefs, secretaries and other important party leaders. D Srinivas, Keshava Rao, Nirnajan are key party leaders in important positions who are forced by Telangana agitators to resign.

There is talk going on that, even Telangana Ministers of Roshaiah’s cabinet may also resign. The meeting of all party leaders to be convened by well known intellect and scholar Prof. Kodandaram at Kalinga Hall will be of immense importance and Telangana leaders are getting united under one roof with formation of Telangana Joint Action Committee which is well away from the Political parties.

KCR and Jana Reddy has gave a call for all the Telangana MLA’s, MLC’s to participate in this meeting which will not be headed by Political parties but will be totally steered by students, intellects, scholars of Telangana.

A unified action plan will be formulated in this meeting to mount the pressure on Congress High Command  regarding Telangana issue and speed up their process for separate state.
