Anantapur,Dec 21: Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi on Monday urged the Telangana leaders not to link regionalism with film artistes.Making a courtesy call on fasting Telugu Desam MLAs Paritala Sunitha, P Raghunath Reddy and B K Parthasarathy at the Government General Hospital here, the PRP chief condemned the remarks of Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader K Chandrasekhara Rao that Telangana people will not see the movies of pro-Andhra people.He told newsmen that there are Telugu-speaking people across Andhra Pradesh and everyone loves films. ``I do not see any barrier of film territories and no areas can be earmarked for film distribution rights even if Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are separated.

''He admitted that there was confusion and fear of a dip in box office collections due to the closure of theatres across the state in the wake of political turmoil. However, no one is preventing the release of Telugu films, he pointed out.He expressed confidence that the Centre would take a clear decision supporting the united Andhra Pradesh bowing to the pressure of the people.INTUC district chief Chavva Rajasekhara Reddy, Sri Krishnadevaraya University assistant professor Sadasiva Reddy and students union leader Sadashiva Naidu are on fast at the hospital.As the condition of PRP leader P Narasimhaiah deteriorated, Chiranjeevi asked him to drop the fast and offered him lime juice to drink.
