Vijayawada Commissioner sacked for Lagadapati.

It is a hard news for Vijayawada police that Police Commissioner Rajendra Nath Reddy along with twelve other Government officials including Circle Inspectors were suspended based on the negligence shown by them which made Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal to escape from Vijayawada and arrive in Hyderabad.

Chief Minister Roshaiah has said that, “We are investigating the case of Lagadapati’s escape from Vijayawada from the angle of negligence of Police and also from the angle of Police deliberately involved in making him escape. Hopefully with above suspensions, other Police officials may open their eyes and work carefully.”
