Labour Minister K Atchan Naidu on Tuesday claimed that the TRS Government of Telangana would collapse if the Andhra Pradesh Government releases the evidences of phone tapping.
Speaking to media persons, Atchan Naidu said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao could not escape from 'phone tapping' case as the AP Government has sufficient evidences to prove its allegations. However, he did not specify when the AP Government proposes to release those evidences or take further action.
Commenting on 'Cash for Vote' case, he said that the Anti-Corruption Bureau has no right to take action against Chef Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as the 'Cash for Vote' case pertains to Election Commission of India (ECI). He said that the ACB could not intrude into the domain of ECI to deal with cases related to luring of voters. Accusing the TRS Government of misusing ACB as a political tool, he reiterated that the Governor should take control of Law and Order in Hyderabad as per the Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act.
Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister P Pulla Rao denied rumours that Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju would succeed Chandrababu Naidu if he has to resign over 'Cash for Vote' case. He accused a section of spreading false rumours on Naidu's resignation.
