The YSR Congress Party has demanded that the Anti-Corruption Bureau widen its net to investigate the cash-for-vote case.

"The TDP’s top leader seems to be the kingpin of the ‘cash for vote’ deal while Revanth Reddy is only a puppet. It is apparent that the strings are being pulled by the TDP Boss N Chandrababu Naidu to distribute the ill-gotten wealth while Revanth Reddy is only the front man. There is every need to get to the root of the money trail," party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters on Monday.

"It is like rob Peter and pay Paul as the TDP leadership has been amassing wealth through Pattiseema and other commercial ventures in Andhra Pradesh only to funnel them  into Telangana. This is how TDP has been going to polls by nominating entrepreneurs as in-charges region-wise and in the aftermath of election they are to plough back a bounty harvest in the form of contracts and concessions,” he said.

Rambabu demanded that the Acb widen its net and go into the details of the source of the huge money that has flown in and the person who has given Revanth Reddy the direction. The reference of Boss points towards Chandrababu Naidu who has the history of handling shady deals, he said.
