The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has made arrangements by providing transport on hired basis across the state to enable the people to reach their destination and the same would be continued during the strike period, Chief Secretary informed.
Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao held a meeting with the Officers of Transport, Home Departments at Secretariat and through Video Conference with all the Districts Collectors, Superintendent of Police to review on the strike situation and alternative arrangements, emergency services made.&nbsp;
The Chief Secretary has directed the officials to closely monitor the situation to make alternative arrangement to minimise hardship to the public, students, employees, pilgrims and especially for the candidates those who are attending EAMCET-2015 entrance exam going to be held on May 8 and other examinations held in the state between May 9 and 11, Transport would provide from all the Mandal Headquarters to examination centres without compromising on safety measures. Normal lives of the public should not be affected due to the strike, Sri Krishna Rao said.
Essential city services may be maintained with co-operation of neighbour States Karnataka and Tamilnadu for the border districts like Rayalaseema and Nellore as far as possible hardship of the commuters are reduced, the Chief Secretary said.
The Chief Secretary has issued instructions to the District Officers that any of the candidates reaching the examination centres in the night necessary arrangements like &ndash; accommodation, food, water and other facilities by taking them to BC, SC other Hostels. Bandobust and other supportive steps may also be taken by the District Officers and dislocation of the transport should not be traced.

RTC strike: AP assures alternate transport for EAMCET candidates

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Thursday and sought Central funds for modernisation of Telangana police force.
The Chief Minister was accompanied with Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma and DGP Anurag Sharma. While discussing the law and order and security scenario in Hyderabad, KCR urged the Centre to provide financial assistance for Mega City Policing System. He also requested Rajnath Singh to ensure that Telangana gets its due share as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014.
Earlier, KCR, along with TRS MPs, met Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar and requested him to allocated defense land for the establishment of State's new Secretariat in lieu of alternate land elsewhere. Speaking to media persons later, TRS MPs Jithender Reddy and B Vinod Kumar said that the land of Gymkhana Grounds or Bison Polo Grounds has been sought for the State's new Secretariat. They claimed that the Union Minister has agreed to consider the demand and assured to visit the location after holding consultations with the senior officials.
KCR also requested the Defence Minister to set up two Sainik Schools in the State. He also sought clearance from Defence authorities for widening of National Highways in Medak and Karimnagar. He also sought permission to lay water pipelines in Secunderabad Cantonment areas to supply Godavari waters.

The writing and screenplay did not inspire any confidence and direction failed to justice in any manner.With routine and outdated story and despite the claims of based on real life incidents, the film failed to generate interest. There is not a single scene in the film that generated interest among movie lovers. Everything turned out to be a tedious watch. Even the so called comedy scenes looked forced and senseless. The romantic track turned out to be another weak point and the entire second half which revolves around finding the missing bison, is redundant with repetitive scenes testing the patience of the viewers. The pre climax and climax are stretched to the core and finally when the film ended, viewers heave a sigh of relief.Prashanth R. Vihari, Bipradeep Dutta's tunes are just ok. The background score is fine but the substandard story couldn't be elevated by their efforts. The cinematography of Prasanth Ankireddy is below standard, disappointing all. This turned the spy drama and serious scenes into laughable ones.Things doesn't change even when the director tried to connect chords with the viewers with emotional scenes and the flashback episodes. All the interesting elements in The entire first half failed in the execution and everything turned bland.Many expected the second half to be better and save the day. However much to the disappointment , it turned even worse. The unraveling of the twists in the complex mission looked illogical and are bereft of interesting twists and thrills.The pre climax and climax are stretched to the maximum and it became a painful watch on the screen. None of the scenes excite viewers turning the entire experience into a disappointing affair.Sam.CS has tuned music. The film has no songs and the background music didn't add value to the narration. The background music left a lot to be desired. In fact it looked out of sync and outdated. Altogether it ended up testing the patience of the viewers. The cinematography of George C Williams is good. It turned the scenes appealing on the screen. He however didn't get chance to show his creative talent. Vijay Velukutty failed with his editing. But there are many scenes and characters that looked forced and out of sync to the story.While the first half after the initial confusion, turns interesting in the run up to the interval and brings an end setting to the exciting second half, the second half sinks even further. There are many unnecessary characters and the flat narration and uninspiring execution played the spoil sport. The flashback episodes undoes all the good intentions. In this film, the age gap is reduced to just around 13 years unlike in Vishwanath &amp; Sons where it was more than 20 years.Right from the start till the finish, Girish AD included many scenes and hilarious elements to bring smiles and create a laughing riot in the theatres. The first half sails through smoothly with racy screenplay and sets the stage for the second half. However the second half falls apart with slow narration. He spent time with silly comedy scenes and romantic scenes and brings an end to the proceedings with the bold song setting the tone for the second half.While the first half is full of youthful romantic elements, the second half is filled with few thrills. Couple of scenes that come with twists may surprise common viewers but those who are used to watch such films find them predictable. But once those twists are revealed it is just a matter of time as to how the proceedings are brought to a logical conclusion.The first half filled with romantic and bold scenes is in complete contrast to the second half filled with couple of twists. The story turned out to be predictable and screenplay left many questions unanswered with illogical elements. The pre climax is ok while the climax turns out to be tame.Ramakrishna. There are many action sequences and intense intimate scenes but everything looks directionless bringing a tame end to the first half.Many expected a better second half but it turns out to be even worse. There are many female actresses but none of them got a powerful role to make an impact. Geetu Mohan Das tried to attract viewers with brother sister relationship, father -son sentiment and many romantic elements but everything looks disjointed and ended up testing the patience of all and irritating them.Even when people wait patiently praying for the end, they will get another shock in the pre climax and climax with psychological elements. The story has many threads but none of them are answered in a convincing manner and few of them despite the lengthy runtime left unanswered and the screenplay turned ridiculous to the core. The direction turned out to be a huge disappointment. The script turned out to be lackluster. Dialogues are just ok and dubbing made the matters worse.Geetu Mohan Das completely failed to do justice to the stardom of Yash and his character turned listless and aimless on the screen. When the main character itself turned out in this way, one can imagine the characterisation of other roles. All lacked emotional depth and came with over the top performances.The songs tuned by Ravi Basrur, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi are not up to the mark. The Cinematography of Rajeev Rai turned the film into a visually appealing one. She showed the scenes in a natural way and created the Goa scenes showing Portuguese role in a realistic way. What surprises all is that the director did not include a female lead in the film. He showed the female character as the sister to the three main characters.The dialogues are entertaining and natural, and none of them look forced and out of sync. The interval bang is done well turning the first half into a decent one. The second half continues in the same manner, and the screenplay and narration goes in a smooth and sedate manner.However for all the positives, the director after highlighting the conflict point and establishing it quite well, ends the film in a flat manner, disappointing all.The cinematography of SVK showed the Hyderabad old city vibes in a natural and realistic way. He used the camera angles to perfection and showed the nightlife and also the day hustles quite well and in an effective manner.The background score of Smaran Sai is good and complemented the proceedings, adding value to the narration. He came up with foot-tapping songs highlighting the old city culture and Deccani flavor. The editing of Rohit Penumasta is ok but could have been better, as there are a few drags that slowed the pace of the narration. However, in between, he loses steam, but still, the first half ends on a decent note, setting the tone for the second half.He continues in the same manner in the second half but adds a few more intense emotional elements. A couple of twists generate interest, surprising all. The twists come as a surprise in a rather predictable story, and the flat narration, especially in the second half. However, once the twists are unraveled, there is nothing much in the story to take it forward. The climax ends on an emotional note.GV. Prakash Kumar elevated the scenes with his background music. His background score added impact to the emotional scenes. His music and tunes for the songs already became the chartbusters. The Telangana Congress on Thursday blamed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for the strike by employees of Road Transport Corporation.
Speaking to media persons here, Congress senior leader Mallu Ravi and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar said that the Chief Minister back-tracked on his promise of giving hike to the RTC staff on par with State Government employees.
