New Delhi,Dec 9: Expressing concern over the deteriorating health of Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhara Rao who is on fast at NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad seeking Telangana state,Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday began confabulations to sort out the crisis.According to sources, the Prime Minister is reported to have enquired about Rao's health, soon after he arrived here from his Russia tour on Tuesday night. Singh on Wednesday learnt from the Congress MPs representing the Telangana region about the latest situation in the state.

The MPs are also understood to have told Singh that the Andhra Pradesh situation was ‘serious and needed urgent steps to tackle it'. The Prime Minister later told newsmen at Parliament House that the Government would take a decision on Telangana state of affairs after discussing the issue with the UPA partners and at the Congress Party's core committee meeting.Dr Singh is also likely to hold discussions with senior Congress leaders and MPs from Telangana region on the issue later in the day.
