Ponguleti demands all-party delegation to Centre on Polavaram

Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Tuesday demanded that the State Government take an all-party delegation to New Delhi to make representation on the issue of Polavaram Dam design.

Speaking to media persons at Congress Legislature Party office here, Ponguleti said that there was no representative from Telangana State in the Polavaram Project Authority and therefore, the Andhra Pradesh has been taking full advatange of the situation. He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao take an all-party delegation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Central leaders on immediate basis.

Ponguleti also alleged that differences between two Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu (AP) and K Chandrashekar Rao (Telangana) was hurting the interest of people of Telangana. He advised both the Chief Ministers to sit and resolve their difference in the interest of common people.
