TRS failed to perform in last 180 days: Ponnala

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah has accused the TRS Government of having failed to implement the promises that it made with people.

Speaking to media persons while participating in the party's membership drive here, Ponnala claimed that nearly 480 farmers committed suicide during the 180-day rule of TRS Government. He said that the National Human Rights Commission has taken the case suo motto and issued a notice to the State Government on farmers' suicides. He said that the government failed to implement a single scheme properly. He said that the Aasra pension scheme was full of glitches and other schemes too are yet to see the light of the day.

Ponnala said that the mishandling of power crisis led to huge losses by farmers and several industries have started moving to other neighbouring states.
