Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday appealed the people to vote for his party if they want to ensure development of Seemandhra region.
Addressing a public meeting here, Chandrababu Naidu said that only TDP could ensure overall development of Seemandhra. He reiterated that the TDP would waive off farm loans and would take all measures to protect the interest of farmers. He also promised allowance for the unemployed youth while assuring that unemployment would be complete eradicated from the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh. If voted to power, he said that the TDP-BJP Government would waive off the loans given to DWCRA groups and provide one job to each household.
Naidu accused the Congress party of converting the Jalayagnam scheme into "Dhanayagnam". He alleged that the Congress Government did nothing for the welfare of farmers during its 10-year rule.
The TDP chief asked people to reject both YSR Congress Party and Congress to put an end to corruption and irregularities.
Giddalur canddiate A RAmbabu, Ongole Lok Sabha candidate Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy and other leaders were also present.
