Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of stalling the debate on Telangana Bill.
Speaking to media persons at Assembly's media point here, Pocharam said that although the CM and Naidu themselves were not coming to the House, but they were engineering pandemonium through their MLAs to prevent discussion on the Telangana Bill. He also asked the Chief Minister to specify the agenda and outcome of his meeting with the Seemandhra leaders of Congress held on Tuesday night. He accused the YSR Congress Party and TDP legislators of trying to blackmail Speaker Nadendla Manohar.
Pocharam said that the people of Seemandhra region too were not happy with the behaviour of their representatives in the House. He advised the Seemandhra MLAs to participate in the discussion on Telangana Bill. He said that they should not test the patience of Telangana people who have been struggling to get statehood for the region for the last 60 years.
