Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Saturday announced that he would submit his resignation again, this time in Speaker's format.
Talking to reporters at Club House of Ministers' Quarters after the meeting of Seemandhra leaders, Rajagopal said that he would resign demanding that the Centre keep the State united. It may be mentioned that Rajagopal was among six Congress MPs who resigned from their post on August 2 in protest against the Congress Working Committee's decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana State.
The other MPs who resigned from their post were Harsha Kumar, Anantha Venkatarami Reddy, Sai Prathap, Vundalli Aruna Kumar and KVP Ramachandra Rao. All of them gave their resignation letters to Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariat.
