Ponguleti blames TRS for delay in T-formation

AICC Secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Monday alleged that the provocative statements by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders were delaying the formation of Telangana State.

Speaking to media persons here, Ponguleti said that the provocative statements by some TRS leaders were inciting the Samaikhyandhra activists leading to protests in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions. He said the ongoing agitation in Seemandhra region has led the Centre to delay the Telangana formation process. Therefore, he said that the Telangana leaders should observe restrain and avoid making provocative statements.

Speaking about the TDP President's bus yatra, Ponguleti said that Chandrababu Naidu himself has exposed his anti-Telangana stand by recalling that he prevented State's bifurcation during NDA's rule. He also condemned Naidu for making derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and asked him to withdraw the remarks and tender and unconditional apology.
