Two MLAs of Ysr Congress party on Thursday resigned from their posts demanding that the Centre keep Andhra Pradesh united.
While, Ongole MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy announced his resignation on Thursday morning, a few hours later, Gurunath Reddy of Chinnakondur constituency in Anantapur district too resigned from his post. Accusing the Congress party of playing with the sentiments of the people, the YSRCP MLAs said that they were ready for any sacrifice to prevent division of Anddhra Pradesh.
Balineni demanded that the Congress was worried about losing its vote bank, he said that the ruling party must first declare its stand and then take opinions from others.
