Jagga Reddy welcomes proposed T-package

Government Whip Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy welcomed the economic package proposed by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for the Telangana region.

Talking to reporters here, Jagga Reddy said that the economic package would directly benefit the people who were being pushed into backwardness by different pro-Telangana parties. He feared that the condition of people in the region would become miserable if separate Telangana State was created.

Jagga Reddy defended the Chief Minister for proposing economic package and opposition Telangana region. He said that Kiran Kumar Reddy was not trying to become a hero by opposing Telangana, but he sought special packages from the Centre for all backwards districts in the State.
