CM meets Union Law minister

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday met Union Law Minister Aswini Kumar.

The Chief Minister, who is here to participate in the High Court Chief Justices meeting, called on the union minister at his chambers. His meeting gains significance as he has many legal tangles in the state.

While Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao's resignation has become a controversy, another minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy is named in the charge sheet in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's DA case. This apart, 18 MLAs had defied the whip during the No Confidence Motion and the issue is pending with Speaker Nadendla Manohar. Their immediate disqualification would lead to by-elections.
