Blaming Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for the on-going power crisis, Kishan Reddy said that while he was frequently touring New Delhi to protect his seat of power, he never visited the National Capital to seek Centre's help in resolving energy crisis and drinking water problem.

The BJP leader also alleged that the Chief Minister and other cabinet ministers lost complete grip over the administration. Citing an example, he alleged that Minister N Raghuveera Reddy has boycotted the Revenue Sadassu in Krishna district due to non-cooperation by the officials. Asking the Chief Minister to take grip over administration, he advised him to represent the Centre for taking additional gas and coal to overcome energy crisis.

BJP MLAs E Lakshminarayana and Y Srinivas Reddy were also present during the press conference.
