Political parties bracing for snap polls

Even as many contentious issues like Telangana are renting the air, there are strong indications of early Polls and major political parties are sharpening their arsenal and strategies to keep pace with the developments.

For Congress the success in cooperative Polls comes as a shot in the arm and is rejuvenated and looks like going for the kill by announcing direct Polls to test its fortunes ahead of the Polls which are likely to announce any time after the budget session, beginning next month.

Congress strategy to surprise the opposition cannot be valid as the three principal opposition parties, TDP, YSRCP and TDP are already active and their leaders have been on the move addressing public meetings in the form of padayatras or otherwise.

With N Chandrababu Naidu and Sharmila going on a padayatra TRS leader K Chandrasekhar Rao is also planning a bus yatra and Congress has been launching one scheme or the other and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is highly visible, of late.

The strength of both ruling Congress and TDP has depleted and the electoral tie-ups will rise to new polarization and new friends and foes will come to the fore.  

The budget session, beginning next month, is likely to witness some very interesting turns and twists besides a fury of varied intensity from all the political parties.
