Governor ESL Narasimhan will visit Delhi on February 9 to attend the two-day Governor’s conference convened by President Pranab Mukherjee. The two day conference will be held at Delhi on February 9 and 10.
The Governor’s visit comes at a time when hectic discussions are going on at Delhi with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy getting a call and having discussions with party president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders and people back home are keeping their fingers crossed on the Telangana issue.
The Chief Minister had met senior leaders yesterday and will be in Delhi today as well with talks of a major shake-up in the organizational structure doing the rounds. Delhi has earlier said that it will also call PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana and leaders of three regions before taking a decision on Telangana.
After Chief Minister, it will be the turn of PCC President followed by senior leaders to give their views on the contentious issue.
However, the Governor’s report carries more weight and in all likelihood it forms basis of the strategy the high command would adopt in deciding the political course of action.
