Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Monday reiterated that the Centre would never divide Andhra Pradesh.

Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan here, Rajagopal said that a few leaders were making speculative statements about Centre conceding the demand for formation of Telangana. He said the possibilities of division of Andhra Pradesh were remote. He said that no serious discussions were going on at the Centre over Telangana issue and some leaders have been making statements only to gain mileage from media. "They are trying to create Telangana State through statements in media," he said.
