Hindu Gods on costumes lead to cancellation of fashion show

The Visakha Kingfisher Fashion Show has been stopped with many organizations protesting against the attire of the participants which has portraits of Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
The show was cancelled following a complaint by Vishwa Hindu Prishad leader Garimella Radhakrishna who alleged that the dress of some of the participants carried the caricature of Hindu Gods. ACP Venkat Rao said that they have registered a case and action would be taken in due course of time.
