Telangana formation will be a tribute to martyrs: Prabhakar

Congress MLC MS Prabhakar on Thursday said that formation of separate State would be the best way to pay tributes to the martyrs of Telangana.

Talking to reporters here, Prabhakar appealed to the political parties not to give confusing statements in the all-party meeting to be held on December 28 in New Delhi. He said hundreds of youth have committed suicide demanding statehood for Telangana region. Therefore, he said the political parties should remember these sacrifices while airing their views in the all-party meeting.

Prabhakar hoped that all parties would speak in favour of Telangana State which would facilitate the Centre in finalising the roadmap for its formation.
