The 13th Andhra Pradesh Assembly session will be held upto August 29, according to the Business Advisory Committee (BCA).
According to a provisional calendar issued by the assembly secretariat, the budget for 2009-2010 is presented on July 24.
The Business Advisory Committee which met under the leadership of Speaker Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy on Friday discussed agenda and working days with all party floor leaders and announced the calendar of events for Assembly.
Discussions on government business, if any, will take place on August 29. The Speaker also allotted time to all parties based on their party’s representation in the assembly. The assembly would work for 26 days this time and take up bills on land reforms, regulation of fee in private schools and other issues.
The session would also discuss soaring prices of pulses and other essential commodities, illegal projects taken up by Maharashtra and Karnataka on Godavari and Krishna rivers, Singareni open cast mining, public health and sanitation, attack on Indians particularly on Andhra people and Sanchar committee report.
Some official and private member bills are also expected to be moved in the House during the session.
