Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao on Saturday predicted major changes in the State Congress and the government soon after the completion of Vice President’s election.
Taking to the media persons in the Assembly premises, Dr Shankar Rao said that several developments have been taking place in New Delhi and they were a clear sign of High Command contemplating to strengthen the party and the government at the center and States. The developments at the center would also have an impact in the State where the Party and the Government would witness big changes very soon, he said.
The former minister said that the High Command was preparing to strengthen the Party and the government in the State as well and the development in the center is a clear sign of the proposed changes.
Reacting on the changes in the portfolios in the center Shankar Rao said that High Command was well prepared to take major decisions to improve party and government's image in Andhra Pradesh after assessing the present situation prevailing in the state. New changes will be witnessed soon after the completion of Vice President’s election, he clarified.
